ABOUT US
Our ancestors held a vision of a time when women would once again gather in sacred circles and ceremonies, uniting to empower and uplift one another in the profound remembrance of our feminine essence. This gathering allows us to reconnect with the timeless wisdom of being women, transcending our perceived limitations, and embracing the nurturing embrace of Mother Earth.
The wellspring of healing and wisdom resides within each of us, both as individuals and as a collective, as we are all interconnected beings on this beautiful Earth, nurtured from the ancestral seeds of our grandmothers and born through our lineage to share our unique healing gifts with the world.
MEDICINE WOMAN is dedicated to inspiring women by blending modern and ancient arts, crafts, dance, music, and enlightening talks. This journey gently awakens the wild and innate wisdom within every woman, allowing her to embrace her inner beauty and unlock her profound inner knowing.
‘When women gather, great things will happen’- Leymah Gbowee
MEDICINE WOMAN is nestled on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, on the outskirts of Boscastle in North Cornwall. It's a truly magical costal location steeped in the Celtic history and folklore of outstanding natural beauty. Tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table can be discovered at the legendary castle of Tintagel; visit the Mermaids' altar at Bossiney; Boscastle's Witchcraft Museum, the enchanted St Nectan's Glenn waterfall and the grave of the 'Fighting Fairy Woman of Bodmin Town', Joan Wytte, at Minster Church are all a stones throw from this stunning location.
Step onto this sacred soil and reawaken the wild essence within you as we, as women, rekindle our profound connection with the Earth. Here, we embrace her wisdom and rediscover the art of living in harmony, reestablishing our sacred bond with our Earth Mother and relearning the dance of reciprocity. Because MEDICINE WOMAN is more than just a gathering; it's a journey of self-discovery and remembrance. As we immerse ourselves in the sisterhood and connect with our greatest mother, the Earth, we open the door to a world of endless possibilities.
This is a co-creative sanctuary where you can receive and savor every moment. A space where you can heal and transform your sorrows into golden threads, where children become part of our village, and where you can feel nurtured and inspired. It's a place to lay down your armor and return to your true self, where your essence is fully embraced and witnessed by all.

Stone & Steam Sauna
Day & Weekend Passes
Stone & Steam wild spa is a sanctuary based on Nordic hot and cold exposure therapy. It is a space that encourages one to drop into the senses and connect with the elements and community.
With our Finnish sauna steam tent, hot box sauna trailer, cold plunge and cosy chillout area, there is something for everyone to feel free to follow what your body needs.
Katie will be your main sauna host, she is a trained Sauna Master and Outdoor Educator. She aims to bring elements of Lithuanian sauna culture to Stone & Steam, as it approaches heat therapy in an intuitive, gentle way rather than pushing the body to extremes. Katie and her team will hold the space, guiding you through your experience to ensure that you receive the fullest benefits from your session.
We will be offering sessions every day:
8-11am communal session
5-6pm bleeding hour
6-10pm communal session
Sauna weekend or day passes can be purchased on site.
