Today, Medicine Woman invites you to return to your roots and embrace the power of sisterhood in a transformative, co-creative sanctuary.

This Earth day, we are reminded of the impact that our footprints have upon the earth, that each moment we choose to be fully here, we are choosing how to communicate with all of humanity.🌍

Founded by singer-songwriter and activist @officialannielennox , The Circle is a unique organisation which brings Global Feminists together to fight for a fairer world for women and girls across the world. A space for creative ideas, connections, and the opportunity to make change. From small beginnings in 2008, it has grown into an independent movement of women and allies from all walks of life who are bonded by the desire to live in a world where women and girls have equal rights and equal opportunities.
The Circle came into my awareness after communing with Wildwood Sisters Founder, Frances who also supports and works part time for them, going abroad and supporting women.
❤️Women supporting women is something that is so dear to our hearts and the ethos at Medicine Woman.
🌍Together we rise, and to be able to give back and educate us all about the global state of women’s affairs is such a hugely privileged opportunity.

When I was a young girl, my mother always used to make me go and speak to our elderly neighbours. At the time I didn’t really understand why I had to go and listen to a lady who would tell me the exact same story over and over again about her life in the war and her hardships of which she had faced during her life.
When I was 18 I got my first job as a carer in palliative support which is also known as end of life care. I’ve spent many years of my life caring for the elderly supporting them through their last days or months or even weeks before they were transitioning over.
It’s only now now that I am a little wiser that I realise how important that initiation was for me during my teenage years.
Imagine a world where those that are feeling lost and needing a sense of purpose find the time and space to sit and listen to the stories of those that have the most wisdom.
For a village to truly become a village, we must include our elders and look up to them and remember that they need our support too and even those that might have edges like ice. They are only there because the society has conditioned them to be an outcast to not feel the inclusion to be part of a village.
Imagine being an elder in your final days and being so alone, so much to share and so much to tell and so much still to pass on to the next generations to come.
Medicine woman is very much focused on our elders.
And for the last three years we have had and still will continue to have Urtema Dolphin as our elder.
She is there to support us and to guide us to answer any questions that we have.
It is time to look up and respect those who have the most wisdom the most life experience.
